Job Description:
Part time (CSR) Critter Service Representative for an animal lover that is compassionate, caring, highly dependable / responsible, energetic, with exceptional attention to detail and possess world class customer service skills. Primarily seeking candidate to assist West of Custer and North between 121 and 380; however, will consider candidates in McKinney and Allen. Primary responsibilities are pet sitting, dog walking and pet waste removal (pooper scooper service)
Reliable Transportation with sufficient liability insurance
Clean Driving Record
Mobile Phone with texting minimum requirement; data plan with email preferred
Internet access
Must be able to pass a background check
Be at least 21 years of age
Willing to have flexible on call schedule
Must be willing to do overnight visits stays
Able to lift up to 70 lbs
Physically able to walk up to 60 minutes
Critical thinking ability
Time Management Skills
Current Pet CPR certification or ability to obtain one
Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills a must
Ideal candidate is someone with the ability to perform assigned task with little supervision. You will be responsible for managing your daily schedule within constraints. You will be responsible for driving to clients homes, taking care of all types of pets such as but not limited to dogs, cats, birds, fish, and rabbits. You will expected to work in all weather conditions including inclement weather. You will be required to clean up pet urine and excrement if pets have accidents in the home. While the job can be challenging and at times exhausting it is also extremely rewarding. It’s wonderful feeling when you ensure the pets you are taking care of are happy and healthy because you are there.
Pay is based on jobs performed and you should average about $16 per hour worked. You must have flexible schedule and available between 6am and 10pm; on weekends and holidays year around. Most major holidays, spring break and summers months are typically our busiest times of the year.
